Latest Updates from Our Project:

In the final 24 hours!

Only 1 day left! ✨

Greetings, magnificent backers! We are in the final 24 hours now and going strong, thank you thank thank you! If you know of any others that might appreciate this please let them know.

We will be using BackerKit as a pledge manager once the campaign ends, so you’ll be able to add your mailing info there, as well as add more add-ons and make selections if applicable. So keep an eye out for that in the next couple days.

Thanks again! Can hardly wait to start producing these beauties!

🎉 You did it!

FUNDED 🎉

Thanks to your generous support, this project is officially funded! We're delighted to be able to print and make these bookish beauties and send them to each of you. Thank you for all you've done to spread the word and support this project! You totally rock our world.

Virtual high fives and happy dances all around! 🙌

Now let's see if we can hit any of those stretch goals before the campaign ends...

The first one would be bookplates (or ex libris, "from the library of"); those delightful little things you use to declare ownership of treasured tomes lest they wander astray. (Perish the thought!) These would be printed in black and gold foil on white labels and included in every physical reward tier.

Well, go forth and celebrate this admirable achievement of bookworm teamwork!

✨ We thank you three times. ✨

Happy Monday, everyone!

Tantalizingly close, and one other thing…
over 2 years ago – Sun, Oct 03, 2021 at 04:32:03 PM

Greetings, fellow bookish fiends—

Thanks to your support we are tantalizingly close to the funding goal, currently at 91% funded! Only 3 days remain to close the gap and make this a reality.

Kickstarter has once again bestowed the title of “Project We Love” upon us, for which we are so grateful, and hopeful of capturing the gaze of more book-loving eyes.

In other news:

Early owl pricing ends tonight, 11:59 p.m. EST, so there are only about 6.5 hours left for your bookish friends to claim that.

The dashingly handsome White Oak Display Cases are sold out. I’ll post an update if more become available!

And...

The large 11x14” art print designs are here for your viewing pleasure!

Of course they are large versions of the calendar artwork, with the book title, author, and artist name below. October’s artwork also features a most moony border addition that is exclusive to the large art print. Add on as many of these as you want to your reward tier!

Pick the design(s) you want in the survey that will be sent when the campaign ends (if successfully funded).

So feast your eyes and tell your friends, neighbors, forums, families, coworkers, book clubs, librarians, and social media groups. Early bird pricing ends today, and we have 3 days to make this happen!

A lot can happen in 3 days... ✨

Thank you, wonderful bookworms! Have a great one.

Off to a splendiferous start!

Well we are certainly starting October well — as of right now this project is 68% funded after the first day! 🎉

My greatest gratitude to you all!

This is such an encouraging start, especially considering this campaign is running for a mere week. We still have a little ways to go in just 6 days, so if you know any kindred spirits that share our love of books and art, please let them know about this! I’d love to hit some of those stretch goals too.

Sneak Peek

Speaking of stretch goals, I’d like to show you a glimpse of the bookplate design I’m working on. It’s still in the early stages, so it’s a very close-up snippet. The concept here is “May inky rivers flow eternal”, and features a banner transforming into a pen with an inky river flowing out.

A sneak snippet of the WIP for the Ex Libris/Bookplate design

I’m planning to use this for the Ex Libris page as part of the Deluxe edition of the calendar as well (but printed in gold on black paper). The bookplate sticker will be printed in black on white with some areas of gold foil if that stretch goal is met.

So spread the word and enjoy this magnificent time dubbed October!

Again, greatest thanks to each of you.
